Monday was our first weigh-in. I was late so I didn’t get to
see how everybody else was doing. I lost a big, whopping, grand total of 1
pound exactly. I’m not surprised, I was actually expecting to be up after the
debacle of Sunday but I was down. I realize
that the longest journey starts with a small step and slow and steady wins the
race and all the other clichés about sticking with it, but it’s still a little
disheartening. The good side of it was that I haven’t started the whole meal
plan and I really haven’t started to exercise yet, but I have started to make
more conscious decisions about what I put in my mouth and what it will do to
me. A little bit of progress after week
one let’s hope there is more to come. Thank you again to all my friends who are
supporting me. I can feel your spirits with me down this path and I appreciate
every one of you.
